Artist Statement
The paintings I create are meant as a representation of the tranquility and calm I value in my life.
The purpose of painting is to relay my intentions using various subject areas in which I find fulfillment and pleasure,
whether they are inspired from natural elements of water, gardening, boats or structural arrangements found out of doors.
I am successful if my rendered works have the ability to move the viewer toward a sense of spiritual calm, heightened
appreciation or sense of nostalgia.
I believe creative art making, in its varied forms, is an enhancement of spirituality. It is where one chooses to be,
an invitation to dwell in ultimate honesty with oneself and with others.
